Scene of The Cinque Terre , meaning "Five Lands") is a coastal area within Liguria, in the northwest of Italy. It lies in the west of La Spezia Province, and comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore Houses on huge rocks .....very interresting and challenging for painting.
I visited this place few years ago, but i never paint it. Really don't know why....maybe those colorful houses making difficulties for making atmosphere and takeover all energy, ...my palette of colours are not strong....and often subordinated to the atmosphere or artistic balance. It's hard to reconcile those two things here ... I don't know how successful I was...
Every artwork comes with certificate of authenticity, well packed in waterproof foil and double layers cardboard box or ,for bigger formats, slightly rolled in a box 25 x 25 x 55 cm....
