Artwork description
This piece started as two abstract sculptures. By placing one on top of the other I was able to make a connection between them. In the top sculpture, I explored the concave shape of a red blood cell and contrasted it with the crescent of a moon. The bottom half of the sculpture integrated a shape similar to that found in a hip joint.
This sculpture will be bubble wrapped and shipped securely in a heavy duty cardboard box.
