Cherish the Love (2026)Mixed-media painting by Elizabeth Westcott

£995

This painting was inspired by a wild flower meadow in the Cotswolds. The flowers and seed heads of wild carrot nestle amongst fine grasses. This flower is also known as ‘Queen Anne’s Lace’.

This meadow was so idyllic. I tried to capture that soft, dreamy vibe. The painting is embellished with patches of silver leaf, giving the impression of sunlight glistening on the grasses.

This painting is on 4cm deep gallery canvas, and it is strung at the back, ready to hang on your wall.

Materials used:

Acrylic, ink and silver leaf
