At the timeI painted this, my Reading Glasses were Round, Red Frames; precisely as you see the Dog Wearing in this painting. Those glasses inspired several images of Dogs Donning a Red Glasses. This piece was painted to reflect a Vintage Feel, with the young Boy being Dressed in a Striped Jacket, in the way typically children used to be Dressed, in attire a bit more formal Than is typical today., meant to evoke a “Once Upon a Time” world, that most of us wish we could be experiencing right now. This canvas is painted around the edges, so can be hung, unframed.
