An original, hand-drawn portrait of Charlie Chaplin — a heartfelt tribute to one of cinema’s greatest icons. Known for his unforgettable role as The Tramp, Chaplin captured audiences with both humour and humanity, and I aimed to reflect that same balance in this portrait.

Created using artist-grade pencil on Fabriano cartridge paper, I focused on careful shading, tonal depth, and expressive detail to bring out the warmth and vulnerability behind Chaplin’s timeless character. His bowler hat, moustache, and soulful gaze are rendered with quiet intensity, echoing the spirit of early black-and-white film.
