Original artwork description
This was a commissioned work, recently shipped to a collector in the US.
The artwork can be considered as an interactive sculpture, but in fact, it functions as a painting. It is a work hanging on the wall and it allows the viewer to touch it and modify it by rotating the elements. The rotation is smooth and super easy, thanks to the high-quality bearings used to attach the elements. Moreover, the elements have been balanced carefully so that they stay at any position.
The work results from my ongoing research on constant change and randomness within well-defined boundaries.
Like many other aspects of our life, the work seems to offer endless rearrangement possibilities.
Signed on the side and back, with year. Hanged directly on the wall without a frame.
