Part of the Baigneuses Collection: “The birds are together resting on the diver's feet and guarding them for a fleeting second. I wanted to bring together the swift movement of the dive with the stillness of the birds and give the image a surrealist angle. The impossibility in time for anything like this to happen resembles coincidences. Like chance encounters.”
