This continues my Champion series, where I explore the nature of satin-like surfaces. I’m interested in how light moves across a wrinkled shirt and how sheen and structure can give the material its own character. The deeper green background heightens contrast and depth, allowing the color itself to take on a kind of quiet intensity. It too becomes a character in the piece.
I wanted the piece to feel both light and playful, yet carry a vintage ghost-like quality.
