Chalk Light captures the still moment where sea meets sky, a soft divide of chalk white and muted sand tones, gently broken by textured movement along the shoreline. Subtle layers of acrylic and palette knife work create depth without noise, evoking distance, calm, and open space.
The restrained palette of warm neutrals and misted whites allows the surface texture to quietly lead. Sealed with a protective matte varnish and framed without glass, the natural texture remains visible, preserving the tactile quality of the paint.
My work is created from imagination and emotion.
I don’t paint landscapes or literal scenes, I paint atmosphere, memory and feeling.
