Original artwork description
I love ancient Greek and Roman mythology and have read many fascinating stories from them. I have met many gods and various mythical creatures. Centaurs and nymphs were of course among them and the kidnapping of a nymph by a centaur inspired me to paint this painting.
However, I did not tell this story as a violent kidnapping, but as a loving relationship between these two beings. That is why the painting radiates peace, harmony and love.
