Celestial Drift Over Deep Waters is a large blue abstract painting created with layered acrylic on canvas.

When I painted this contemporary abstract artwork, I was exploring depth, movement and luminous space. The composition unfolds through rich navy blue, deep teal, muted turquoise and soft sky blue tones, gently fading into light misty greys and subtle warm golden accents. Fine vertical lines and expressive drips add rhythm and energy, while small refined gold touches create quiet sparks of light within the composition.

I work with multiple translucent acrylic layers, building texture with palette knife and fluid brush movements. The surface reveals depth, contrast and a sense of open space that feels both expansive and intimate.
