Hi, this painting is a landscape of the beautiful Cedarburg Hills in South Africa. It's the latest in a series of works inspired by a visit we made 2 years ago.
I have made use of many colours on the palette to convey the heat and variety of this ancient rockscape. These smooth appearance of the rocks is due to water erosion when rivers flowed through this now arid area thousands of years ago. Enjoy xx
