An original painting of Catstye Cam from the top of Swirral Edge on Helvellyn.


One of my favourite fells, especially viewed from Helvellyn, where you get the excitement of scrambling down Swirral Edge to reach it. I can see it from the end of my street, and while its famous neighbour gets most of the attention, Catstye Cam always steals the show for me, striking, sharp, and silhouetted like a piece of toblerone against the sky.

Acrylic on canvas.

This original painting measures 14x18x1.5". The image continues around the sides and there are D rings and string on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall. A coat of varnish is applied for protection. Thank you for looking at my work.
