Just in case you aren't familiar with Veronica she is my alter ego and was born through my menopausal/oil painting discovery period, she is a shrewd fashionable mature woman, whitty, sharp, independant, wealthy and confident, she loves all animals and is a very postive no-nonsense kind of a woman and exactly like most women she also has a dark side.
At first glance you may not notice but Veronica is wearing a curled up cat on her head maybe that's why she's looking so smug? I mean don't we all want a cat hat?
I really enjoyed painting this one I think her red jumper, lipstick and earrings really pop against the green textured background.
They have been painted on an H24 x W18inch stretched canvas with acrylic paints and sealed with varnish then waxed to give her a softer surface appearance. This painting has been framed in a black wooden tray frame and is ready to hang.
This is a real statement piece and almost guaranteed to attract attention.
