Sir Robert Calder was bored with always having to look formal in his portraits (plus it took SO long to get all trussed up in his garb) so this year, he decided to eschew his usual sea-faring garb and opt for his trusty Stone Island jacket instead. Not only was it the perfect mix of stylish and casual, it featured a compass which provided a sartorial nod to his career in the Navy. PLUS it brought out the blue in his twinkly eyes and the ladies would love that. Win win!
