Textured painting of Castlerigg Stone Circle , the neolithic site is thought to be one of the oldest stone circles in the country, which could have been constructed as far back as 3000 BC.
I have painted this scene, as a crystal , clear day, which has given the viewer defined shadows, and fantasic light, to highlight the atmosphere and energy of this place.
Painted on all sides with pallet knife and brush.
