Cascade Ditch Trail (2025)Acrylic painting

1 Artist Review

£260.29

Using a cohesive color palette of greens, earth tones and blues I created this scene plein air. I lead an outdoor painting group that usually paints various kinds of scenes that are local to our area. Cascade ditch is a trail follows the water canal which supplies water to our area for drinking and agriculture. In this painting I captured the sunlight through the forest of trees with the elements of ferns and flowing water. A sunlit path leads to a focal point of brightly colored trees plants and sky.

Materials used:

Professional archival canvas stretched over kiln dried wooden frame, using professional paints.
