There’s a place in the Carpathian Mountains I always return to — if not in person, then through paint. This work was born from one of those inner returns. Layer by layer, I built the composition with oil and pastel, letting the contours of the land reveal themselves. Towering peaks, deep valleys, and a distant flock of sheep came to life almost intuitively. It's not a photographic record, but rather an emotional landscape — my memory of silence, scale, and movement distilled onto canvas.
