Carmel River Beach Morning II Original Oil Painting by Tatyana Fogarty

Original oil painting of the morning scene at the Carmel River Beach, featuring a 1-mile-long protected beach with a lagoon formed by the Carmel River. The lagoon attracts many migratory birds, which I wanted to include in my painting. If you look closely, you will discover them as little black and white dots in this small 6"x8" painting. The state park protects a large chunk of land mostly made up of wetlands at the mouth of the Carmel River. This area is known as the Carmel River Lagoon and Wetlands Natural Preserve.

This is a 6"x8" oil painting on a Centurion Premium Oil Primed DLX Linen Artists’ Panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish, that gives the work a unified and protective surface.
This painting is unframed and requires a frame to hang. It easily slots into a standard 6"x8" picture frame. Images showing artwork framed in home interiors are for presentation of potential framing ideas. Frame is not included.
