Artwork description
I visited Japan in the Summer of 2025 and went to a Capybara cafe. I loved these enormous rodents and wanted to make a souvenir image of my visit. The Japanese script says 'Capybara' - ot that is my intention. As I don't read Japanese I can't be sure! This is made on a zinc plate to which the colours are applied and the whole is then printed on the press.
Materials used:
Somerset paper, zinc plate, lightfast printing inks
