With a feel of the ocean, cliffs and headlands, Cape Bleu is painted with a sense of place taken from memories of ocean edges around the globe, but probably the strongest recollections of Pauls' many stays in the Hebrides - namely the wonderful bays of Tiree and beaches like Scarista on the Isle of Harris. Painted on a custom made box canvas measuring 150 cm by 60 cm, Cape Blue is certainly a statement piece in any environment.
