Original artwork description:

"Cap verd" could mean Cape Verde , like the archipelago of islands in the Atlantic Ocean, but it is also related to a name of a fish from the Spanish Island Majorca, where I live.
While I was painting, I recognized that it looks like a "Cap roig" , how they call the Scorpion fish in catalán on Majorca, only that the fish is red (roig) and mine is green (verd) so I called it "Cap verd".
I like the association of an island and a fish at the same time. In a way they are both somewhere in the middle of the sea...

As you can see, according to the light, the colors of the painting are changing. That's why I took some outdoor photos and some from inside.

This painting has multi layers of acrylic paint on canvas making this work highly textural. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars.
The sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang.
This painting comes signed with a letter of authenticity by the artist and it will be shipped stretched in a cardboard box.
