In this semi-abstract still life, I focus on candles and wine glasses as central motifs. Rather than aiming for realism, I emphasize light, mood, and atmosphere. The flickering candlelight spreads through deep crimson tones, merging with the silhouettes of the glasses and creating a rhythm between abstraction and form. Using impasto techniques and palette-knife layers, I build a rich texture that allows the still life to feel alive—subtly moving in light—conveying warmth, intimacy, and quiet contemplation.
