Description:
Inspired from my camping trips In this painting I tried to capture the quiet magic of an Australian night in the bush. Beneath the glow of a full moon and the silhouette of a rugged escarpment of Rawnsley Bluff, two figures gather around a warm campfire, enveloped in a peaceful landscape.
I created contrasts between the firelight’s soft amber glow and the deep blues of the surrounding night. A towering eucalyptus frames the scene, its textured trunk and spreading branches emphasising the shelter and majesty of the natural world.
