Serene and meditative oil landscape painting.

Based on a photograph taken on a recent trip to Japan, this is the view from the top of the mountain on the Island of Miyajima. High up, you are surrounded by still blue sea, and an array of islands, with the blue sky stretching above. Early morning haze still lingers amongst the distant hills and inlets.

This calming landscape painting would work equally well in a living room or bedroom, bringing peace and tranquility with memories of uplifting blue skies.

Please note: this was a difficult painting to photograph! If hung in a sunny room, the colours appear a greeny blue, or a cool room a bluey blue. Both are lovely! (please see variation in photographs).

Strung and ready to hang.

She has exhibited at Leighton House Museum, Kensington, London, at several London galleries and internationally.
