This is a small oil painting on paper, which aims to capture light and atmosphere of the Shropshire hills on a summer morning.
It's painted using artist quality oil paint on primed, acid free paper.
The painting is initialled in the lower right hand corner and signed in full on the back. It is single- mounted with burgundy-coloured acid-free mountboard and in a simple gold-effect frame with hanging fixtures on the reverse.
The framer has used specialised low-reflective glass in the framing of this painting, which significantly reduces the amount of light reflection from objects, windows etc.
