Cacti in the Desert at Sunset (2026) Original Oil Painting by Anastasiia Valiulina

Cacti in the Desert at Sunset is an original oil painting inspired by the warm beauty of the desert at the end of the day. Tall saguaro cacti rise against a glowing pink and blue sunset sky, while blooming desert flowers add vibrant color and texture to the foreground.
I created this artwork with expressive brushwork and palette knife texture, using thick layers of oil paint to bring movement and depth to the landscape. The warm golden light, soft pastel sky, and rich desert tones create a peaceful yet dramatic atmosphere.
