This oils on board painting is a modern version of the musical show 'Cabaret'. The beautiful young dancer stoops towards the floor to pick up a bowler hat to enable her to continue her dance. The audience are faintly shown in the dark background whilst the foreground has a multi-coloured block effect. The dancers lovely legs are enhanced by the pink high heeled shoes.
