I had no real vision for where this piece was going when I started out. I recently bought an apartment in my French Town of a Menton, and spent a couple of weeks madly flitting about in an effort to get it furnished. There was a shop in the middle of town that provided me loads of the bits and pieces that made their way into my new little nest. So originally, I intended to paint from a photo, this shop. As a I leaned in, I decided I was more interested in a less specific scene, but more a decorative piece loaded with color and objects. The result is what you see here. *** The Awning atthe top of this painting can be cusomized, to reflect you name! Example: “Fleurs des Sylvia” ; oranything you might want!
