A colourful modern impressionist mountain landscape painting, of Buttermere, in the English Lake District of Cumbria England.
Painted in muted autumnal shades I have tried to convey the mood of a clear autumn day with the bracken covered hillsides reflected in the sill waters of the lake and a sunny blue sky.
