I live in one of the hilltop white villages of southern Spain, and in this print I have imagined the town as a snow scene. Although snow so far south is incredibly rare, it isn’t impossible. In a number of the local bars hangs a panorama of the village with a sprinkling of snow. The photograph was a taken in 1980.
This 6 colour silkscreen is made on a heavyweight 250 gram paper. The print is created by printing each colour separately, gradually building up the image.
