Original artwork description:
A bull runs in the sand. On the ground lies a muleta, a cloth used in wrestling. Blood flows from the muleta. This parable speaks of the cruel aspect of entertainment. It does not judge, it only observes and describes. I did not want the bull in the painting to suffer. But I also did not want the person to suffer. That is why the blood flows only from the discarded cloth. Everything else is for the eye of the beholder :)
