Flowing water. Pale sands. shoreline texture. Budle Three is Paul's response to a fortnights stay in Budle Bay Northumberland. Budle Three is one of a series of three square canvases that can work as a Triptych or as single paintings. all three Budle canvases echo shapes and movement through observing the dynamic clear azure waters around rocky outcrops and sandbanks, and rushing water on incoming and receding tides.
