Bruised Emotions was created from a place where feelings linger long after they have been broken. This work emerges from my desire to revisit deeply personal memories—moments of love, loss, and emotional impact—and allow them to resurface through texture, movement, and color. Each layer holds a memory, each mark a quiet confession.
Heavy plaster paint forms a raw, sculptural floral surface, giving the emotions weight and presence, while acrylic paint and oil pastel soften and disturb the form, mirroring the fragile balance between tenderness and pain.
