Bronze and Gold Skies (2025)Acrylic painting
by Sandy Dooley

20 Artist Reviews

£1,700

Original artwork description

Abstract impressionist landscape, 70x100cm.

Hedgerows on my lane in the local walks I take every day are such a barometer for the changing seasons. This painting is a late afternoon, with a November hedgerow backed by an autumnal sky

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints and pigments, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 70x100cm landscape painting is acrylic on raw linen. It’s unframed and is strung with picture cord ready to hang

Materials used:

acrylic paint, canvas
