Broken Flight was created during a painting workshop in Sinaia, where we painted outdoors. At one moment, a strong gust of wind lifted the canvas into the air and threw it to the ground. During this whirlwind, the canvas was pierced by a sharp object, leaving a crack that I later restored. This dramatic event inspired the title and the essence of the work. The painting captures a moment of suspended motion and fragile balance, reflecting tension, vulnerability, and the poetic imperfection of life’s journeys.
