Brockwell Lido, the beautiful outdoor swimming pool in South London, in Autumn.

This is a one-off handmade print, or 'printed painting' and as unique as an oil on canvas.

I apply etching inks onto a sheet of steel with card and rollers before making marks with various tools and removing ink in areas with a cloth. The plate is then pulled through a press, printing the image onto dampened Somerset Velvet paper. I love the light effects and texture I can achieve with this technique and it is a way of combining my two loves: painting and printmaking.

This artwork is wrapped in acid-free tissue, loosely rolled in a thick-walled 10cm wide cylinder and dispatched signed and tracked within two days.
