Original artwork description
I painted this large watercolour painting in my studio from sketches made on location after the storm. Much of the pier had been destroyed but the theatre remained for a while before it was lost in a fire.
This large 1/2 imperial size watercolour shows the remaining framework and the theatre, with the sea below. It was entered into an international watercolour competition.
It measures 19” wide x 13” high image size, and is set behind a quality cream mount to fit a frame size 27” x 21”. It is NOT framed. (ref 1507)
