In this painting, I explore the quiet tension between sea and sky, where the horizon is less a line and more a negotiation. I break the landscape into fields of color, allowing blues and earthen tones to press against each other without fully merging. For me, this division is not conflict but coexistence — two vast elements sharing the same breath while holding their own boundaries.

I work with texture and layered pigment to suggest erosion, tide, and air in motion. The surface carries traces of abrasion and softness at once, echoing the way nature both divides and dissolves form. I am less interested in depicting a specific shoreline and more in capturing a state of suspension — that fleeting moment when atmosphere feels split, yet deeply connected.

Through abstraction, I invite the viewer to stand in that in-between space with me, where separation becomes balance and distance becomes dialogue.
