Original artwork description
"Bremen, Stacked" - mixed media on watercolor paper, 22" x 15". Ready to frame.
Donkeys. They still call to me. So when someonechallenged me to paint the Musicians of Bremen, right away I felt so sad for the donkey in the statue! Poor donkey, holding up all those other animals decade after decade. So consider this a reverse Bremen stack. The donkey is happy to whisper into the ear of the pooch. The rooster maybe doesn't like being on the bottom, but it does make him feel important (he told me so).
This piece is sold unframed. It will be shipped flat, carefully packaged in mostly repurposed shipping materials.
