Painted in acrylic on 36 x 36 x 2.5 wood panel.
Breathe was inspired by a part of a drive out of town. After slowly going up mountain and a plateau is reached that is a meadow of greens. I went for the momentaftera big rain and the air and earth are cleansed and you just inhale.
Painted intuitively with knives and spatulas. Many layers of translucent paint overlap creating a glass like appearance. Shades of blue grey and gold greens.
