Breath of the Valley (2026) Original Oil Painting by Vladyslav Durniev

This painting is my impression of a living landscape filled with light, air and movement. I wanted to capture that quiet moment when nature seems to breathe — when the wind moves gently through the grass and the light softly touches the hills.

Using a palette knife, I built up rich textures to give the land a tactile, almost physical presence. The layers of color reflect the changing rhythm of nature — vibrant greens, warm yellows and cool blues blending into a harmonious whole.

The tall trees stand as silent witnesses within the landscape, adding structure and balance while emphasizing the openness of the valley and the distant mountains.

For me, this work is about calmness, space and connection with nature — a place where you can pause, breathe and feel the quiet energy of the earth.
