My image evokes the feeling of the promise of early spring. Wild white Cherry blossoms glow amongst their burgundy and olive foliage. Tranks and bare branches of distant trees stand tall and out of focus in the background. The sky is blue green. Layered with vintage textures. Photographed on beautiful Cape Cod.
This was selected by juror, Lee Anne White, in the April 2025 exhibition, Botanical, at A. Smith Gallery, Johnson City, Texas.
