The morning light filtered through the soft, golden haze of dawn, casting long shadows over the quiet city streets below. High above, on a small balcony tucked into the corner of an apartment building, Emma stretched her legs out, wrapped in a cozy blanket, and took in the view. The city was just waking up. The hum of the streets hadn’t yet turned into the usual rush of hurried footsteps and honking cars.
