Artist's description:

Colour is such an important aspect of painting but some philosophers believe that it may be mind dependant and does not exist outside the minds of perceivers. Along with taste and smell, colour is diagnosed as a secondary quality that is removed with the observer. It is thought that beings of different physiognomies may not necessarily see the colours that we experience.
Colour is sensational in it's genuine translation of feelings and emotive responses when we see things. The colour experience is superlative and in this image figures may be enjoying contemplating the monumental diversity of feeling in the colour that surrounds and moves within them.
