2026 | Archival pigment printed on archival satin photo paper | 25x17
The barn at Bragg Farm holds its ground against the winter. Its vertical boards, weathered to the color of dark honey and ash, absorb the flat light of a snowy afternoon without giving much back. Beside it, the silo rises with a domed cap rimmed in oxidized copper-green, snow banked thick on its crown. The roof is buried under a rounded weight of white, softening the sharp geometry of the structure. A row of bare maples and birches stand in the middle distance, their branches silver and indistinct in the falling snow, the fence line at their feet barely legible beneath the drifts.
Behind the farm, Sugarbush fills the frame. The ski trails cut pale corridors through dark spruce and fir, running in long diagonal lines from cloud to valley floor. Low weather has pulled the upper mountain into grey obscurity, leaving only the mid-slopes visible, the chairlift towers reduced to small dark marks against the pale forest. Snow falls steadily. The air between the barn and the mountain is thick with it, turning distance soft and dissolving the boundary between where the farm ends and the peaks begin. Two lives of winter coexist here: the still, unhurried life of the farm and the scored, vertical life of the mountain.
Quality is about longevity. I use a high-resolution Canon R5 Mark II to capture every detail of the Vermont landscape. Each piece is printed in-studio using professional-grade Canon Pro-1100 and Epson P9000 systems with archival pigment inks on archival satin photo paper to create a print that will last for generations.
Print only, with a 1/4 inch wide white bordering for convenient matting and (or) framing
