Walking and biking for days, it is amazing how the feel and atmosphere of an environment can conjure inspiration. Paul recently spent days in a Bothy in the English Lake District, his home in his formative years. The subtle shades and hues of the dry bracken, pale purple heather, morning mists and moody temperate skies all play a part in the creation of Brackenrigg and Beyond. At 106cm wide the painting makes quite an impression on any wall.
