Original artwork description:

An expressivist semi-abstract painting of the English countryside. This work has a calming presence due to its nebular form and natural palette. 
The artist drew on the later works of Turner for the rendition of landscape as seen almost through a clouded filter. There are hints of rocks to the right of the work and hillsides to the left which ground the dream like rural scene. The frame is solid wood.
