Painted on location in the salt marshes of the Rann of Kutch ( Gujrat ,India ), this work is a continuation of my 2019 “Serenity” series, where I sought to interpret landscapes as meditative states. The vast salt plains stretched endlessly beneath an almost perfect blue, a scene so still it seemed to suspend time. The experience of painting there was one of complete stillness; every stroke became an act of balance between earth and air. “Boundless Blue” is a reflection on that silence on the quiet dialogue between scale, proportion, and the infinite calm of open light.
