A favourite location but from a different angle. This time looking out to the harbour mouth with the houses on the coast road on the right-hand side. Looking into low sunshine
The Saxon church is very much part of the scene. It appears on the Bayeux Tapestry. Harold Godwinson sailed from here on his ill-fated voyage to Normandy
